Responsibility for the safe control of a varied scope of fire protection works delivered across a range of occupied buildings including social housing blocks, education establishments, offices and district healthcare trusts.
Reporting to the Project Compliance Manager, the Technical Compliance Manager will:
- Coordinate works in accordance with company policies and procedures including method statements, risk assessments, safety systems of work and CDM regulations
- Manage and supervise the delivery of works on site to meet programme and commercial constraints
- Hold line management responsibility for the quality of outputs delivered by up to five trades persons (Fire Stopping Technicians, Joiners and Operatives), including evidence-based testing of installations
- Liaise with a range of project stakeholders, ensuring all works are planned in advance and that all logistical arrangements for the supply of materials, plant and equipment is well thought out and fully co-ordinated
- Maintain close links with a team of project planners and that all works are co-ordinated through the company’s CAFM system
- Ensure records of works completed remain accurate and fully reflective of the technical requirements of project specifications

Fire Stopper
Carrying out Fire Stopping works to riser cupboards, above cross corridor doors, ceiling lines and loft spaces within occupied social housing blocks, schools and public building, our fire stoppers will be required to deliver works to high standards, agreed specifications and standard details.
Working within strict standards of quality, cleanliness and overall process compliance, have significant experience of fire stopping works and be fully trained in effective site safety and asbestos awareness.
It is preferable for candidates to also have experience processing works orders and quality control documentation requests through use of tablet computers
Key Responsibilities within this role will be:
- Installation of fire batt, mastic, and intumescent product, to manufacturers guidelines.
- Always adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Working closely with labouring team

The individual must also take responsibility for their own work and ensure it is to the highest standard possible. Also, this position is idea for an individual who has strong experience within Fire Stopping and is keen to progress. We are looking for someone who is FIRAS qualified, therefore you must hold a FIRAS card in order to be considered for this position
